Oleanolic acid is a pentacyclic triterpenoid derived from the fruit of the genus Asteraceae, Syzygium
sylvestris, or Ligustrum lucidum, which is present in the free body and glycoside. Plants have become clinically used hepatoprotective drugs, which have obvious protective effects on acute and chronic liver damage caused by carbon tetrachloride, which can increase elevated ALT and AST, inflammation, necrosis and interstitial inflammation. The reaction is relieved, the formation of fibrosis is prevented, the regeneration of hepatocytes is promoted, and the recovery of necrotic tissue is accelerated.
