Thyme extract is Thymu smongolicus Ronn. The whole plant has an aroma and a mild spicy flavor. It is fresh and charming. Its fragrance is praised as "the heaven of the dawn". It mainly contains volatile oil, flavonoids, triterpenoids, organic acids, trace elements and so on. It has antibacterial, anti-fat oxidation, anti-tumor and anti-thrombotic effects, and can be used as pharmaceutical raw materials for related pharmaceutical preparations. Thyme extract is widely used in essential oil production, edible products and daily cosmetics.

The essential oil of thyme is usually extracted by steam distillation and processed by oil and water separation. Not only low cost, and no other solvent residue, pure flavor. First of all, the dry raw materials are cut into pieces with scissors, put into a round-bottom flask, and heated with a temperature-adjusting electric heating sleeve. After a certain period of co-water distillation, essential oil is obtained. A small amount of water will be mixed in the essential oil obtained by filtration, and the water will be absorbed by anhydrous sodium sulfate to obtain light yellow transparent essential oil.
Process flow:
Drying (usually natural drying, drying may cause loss of essential oil)→ crushing → co-water distillation → standing of distilled liquid → reading → filtration → dehydration → preservation.
